At Eventbrite, our Barklings help us get through the ruff days, and we love to brag about them! Meet Bruni, one of our Barklings in Berlin, and check out a day in his life at the office.

Hello World!

My name is Bruni and I’m a 3.5-year-old French Bulldog! My mum, Friederike, and I belong to Eventbrite’s German Business Development Team located in Berlin.

7:30 am

I wake up and have breakfast at home. Today we have wild boar + fresh vegetables, my favorite!

8:15 am

Mum and I take a short morning hike through Victoria Park — maybe I’ll see some squirrels!

8:30 am

I ride with my partner in crime to work and enjoy the scenic views. My seat is in a big basket on my mum’s bike.

9:00 am

We arrive at the Eventbrite office. I give a special hello to our Office Manager, Liesa, and then do my morning round and wave to everyone else in the office.

9:15 am

I find out that Marley (my favorite Barkling pal) has stolen favorite bone, I sneak to her place to grab it back.

9:30 am

Daily team huddle time! As a business development team, we always check on wins and challenges from the past day and prepare for the upcoming day. Uhh, tomorrow is team lunch, I should book my spot early…and near the kitchen…Would you like to join the fun?

10:00 am

Time to check my barkling notifications on our Eventbrite Slack channel and sync with my furry mates around the globe. It’s cool I get to stay connected with all my buddies like Ollie!

11:00 am

We have a lot of interviews going on in the office today. I like to say hi to visitors and check on new candidates who have applied for our roles- the most important thing for me is: will they bring treats in when hired?

12:30 pm

LUNCH! My favorite part of the day is sniffing new smells at Oranienstraße and enjoying the sun on the way to the park. We stop at one of my favorite eateries,Milch & Zucker, my mum says they have great lunch (and the best crumbs!)

1:30 pm

Found the stolen bone. Need to find a better place to secure it from Marley.

2:00 pm

Back to work. My marketing fellas got a delivery and I take care of the packaging for them! I usually tear it into small pieces so they fit in the bin. Mum loves to clean that! Our Event Marketing Manager is thinking about giving me a promotion.

3:00 pm

Time to nap and unwind, working in a fast moving company means you need a break from time to time.

4.30pm

My last meeting is on Data Protection and Compliance for today. I try to look as cool as possible amongst the data protection officers and their highly confidential mission.

5:30pm

It’s been a long day. Time to wave goodbye to everybody and go home, I’m already looking forward to the team lunch tomorrow…

Check out more of Bruni’s friends every Monday on our Instagram for #BarklingMonday.
