Eventbrite sold more than $1.5 billion in tickets last year, and we’re growing every day. Our team is working to ensure the data infrastructure of Eventbrite can scale with the business. This role will help maintain data integrity and enable analytics without slowing development velocity. In addition, we need to provide tools and schemas that enable internal and external uses of data for analytics, reporting, data science, and other business partners.
The Database Engineering Team works on the pipes that connect the various services and data stores that make up the Eventbrite websites and mobile applications. In addition, the team is responsible for Eventbrite’s infrastructure, including ETL, the enterprise data warehouse, and reporting tools. Learn more about the team from some of our engineers.
As a Data Engineer, you’ll be a key member of a small engineering team working on Eventbrite’s data-related problems. You’ll be instrumental in defining the scope, design, and ETL processes, and you’ll work with business users to ensure that they have accurate, reliable reporting.
