Our team in Melbourne has grown quickly over the past few years since launching our AU presence in 2014. We are excited to add our first Briteling Experience team member in Melbourne to scale with and be an expert resource for our Australian/New Zealand team.
Eventbrite’s Briteling Experience team is dedicated to providing a positive, helpful, and welcoming experience to everyone who enters the Briteland, from our employees to guests, vendors, clients, and customers. We strive to remove barriers and provide the tools and support to help our Britelings achieve great things. As an HR Generalist, you will be part of our larger Briteling Experience team, which includes Business Partners, People Operations, Engagement and Development, Recruiting, and Facilities.

As our HR Generalist in Melbourne, you will be our on-the-ground ambassador in Australia. You will be tasked with engaging our Britelings and implementing thoughtful, scalable processes in the areas of onboarding, offboarding, and general HR compliance.
In this role, you will collaborate with Britelings and Leaders across the globe as you take charge of HR duties. You will partner with cross functional teams from Engagement & Development to Finance to Legal. The role includes assisting with on-boarding/off-boarding, payroll, training, benefits programs and compliance reporting including, Worker’s Comp audits, annual census data collection. You will provide world class support for the team and help ensure we provide an inclusive and welcoming workplace where our Britelings can do their best work. You will leverage data to make recommendations about how we can continuously drive improvement.
THE SKILL SET
5+ years experience in a HR generalist role
Experience with enterprise level payroll systems
Ability to problem solve, anticipate, and overcome roadblocks as we scale
Demonstrated dedication to process improvement
Tech savvy: you have serious Excel skills, know your way around the entire Microsoft Office Suite, and are a pro at using Google collaboration tools
Focus on providing top notch customer service to all Britelings across the organization
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Proven track record of remaining cool under pressure
Open to a modest amount of domestic and international travel
International HR experience
