Over the past 10 years the Eventbrite team has grown from a small but mighty group in San Francisco to a global community of 1,000 employees in over 12 countries. A major focus of our strategic plan has been an investment in the large opportunity across continental Europe. The Acquisition Manager, Self-Sign-On, Europe will be responsible for how we acquire individual event creators across Europe through a range of growth marketing initiatives.


The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralised, multi-disciplinary group of marketers, strategists, designers, storytellers and creators, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and collaborators to connect with, and support our customers at every touchpoint. Eventbrite’s Europe Marketing team is based primarily in London, UK, and our campaigns reach event creators in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Benelux and beyond. 


A large proportion of our event creators are those who sign up individually, with the desire and entrepreneurial mindset to create events based on their passions and business interests. Within Eventbrite, we call these our ‘Self-Sign-On’ (SSO) customers. 

As the Acquisition Manager, Self-Sign-On, Europe you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional acquisition strategy to hit our ambitious growth targets for our large self-sign on business. Reporting into the Director or Acquisition, Europe you will leverage data insights to identify the greatest growth opportunities and based on that craft the strategy and tactics that allow us to acquire high-value self-sign on creators in a scalable way across our core markets in Europe. 

In this role, you will closely collaborate with several stakeholders in the company including Data Science, Performance Marketing, and Lifecycle and Product Marketing to build growth strategies and execute plans to accelerate adoption of our platform among high value self-sign on creators in Europe.

Occasional travel may be required.


  • Drive marketing strategy and execute integrated customer acquisition campaigns that accelerate the growth of our Self-Sign-On creator base across Europe
  • Have a thorough understanding of upper funnel digital marketing channels including paid media, SEO, email, web conversion tools, and how these work together 
  • Partner closely with the regional and global growth marketing, content, product marketing, data insights teams to develop and execute marketing plans 
  • Have a “test & learn” mindset with the mentality to continually assess KPIs to monitor business performance
  • Identify, instrument, forecast and measure results against key performance indicators, including regularly providing updates to stakeholders across the business 
  • Analyse progress to plan, report on the results of individual initiatives and key milestones, and provide proactive optimisation recommendations


  • 5+ years experience working in a marketing team or agency 
  • Strong analytical skills reflected through an ability to translate ambiguity and complexity into clarity and actionability
  • Self starter with a roll up your sleeves and figure it out spirit 
  • Proven history working cross-functionally with other marketing and product teams to drive growth through various marketing channels 
  • Familiarity with various marketing /automation technology and conversion optimisation tools
  • Analytical mindset, thorough understanding of how to build a story through data
  • Strong facilitator within and across teams: You know how to drive results by leveraging all of your resources
  • World-class organisational and project management skills


  • Have used (and loved) Eventbrite as an organiser, attendee, or both!
  • Prior experience with the tools we use to power our marketing efforts: Marketo, Klayvio, Wordpress, Salesforce, Tableau and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of the Europe events landscape - who are our competitors? How do people gather?
