THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is a people-first organization. Our goal of building the global platform for live experience relies on the foundation of top talent and strong company culture. The Commercial Team is responsible for retaining and growing our fast-growing customer base, consisting of mid to high value returning customers, as well as self-sign on event creators. The Commercial Team’s main focus is to retain best-fit customers through contract renewals, identify up-sell opportunities, and maximize value from a book of customer opportunities.


THE TEAM

The Commercial Team operates at high velocity outreach within specific retention-based deal life cycles. This team is responsible for understanding event creator’s business trends in order to identify opportunities for mutual growth.

 

YOU WILL

  • Manage a sales funnel of renewal and new contract opportunities for target customer segments and accurately forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, resolution strategies, and ultimately structure contract agreements that drive long-term value to both the organizer and the company.  
  • Proactively drive longer-term contracts to minimize future revenue risk
  • Identify up-sell opportunities within the existing account base - prioritizing high-value accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities through referrals to regularly deliver leads to the acquisition team 
  • Continuously deliver feedback to leadership teams and participate in process improvements and optimization of existing procedures
  • Responsible for feeding back to the business on the competitive threat 

THE SKILL SET

  • 3+ years experience in a Sales or Customer Success/Account Management role with a focus on contract negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer renewals and up-sells with a SaaS product to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Proven ability to manage large opportunity and up-sell pipelines
  • Strong organization skills and superb capabilities with managing a large volume of tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), meticulous attention to detail, and a resourceful problem-solving attitude
  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Google Applications (Analytics, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
