THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite’s customer base and platform are growing. We’re expanding our support presence in Cork to evolve alongside these business needs. We want to empower customers with the knowledge and resources they need to be successful on Eventbrite. From a single ticket buyer to the largest organiser on our site, we need a right-sized experience for each one. We’re looking for people who can own this exciting challenge, and provide support to our growing community of event organisers and attendees.


THE TEAM

Customer Experience is critical to the success of Eventbrite. Our global support team spans San Francisco, Nashville, Mendoza, Melbourne and Cork! We’re available 24/7 to troubleshoot, problem solve, and exceed expectations through delivering a delightful experience. We’re tasked with ensuring our organisers and consumers have a consistently great experiences with Eventbrite, and measure it by maintaining a best-in-class Customer Satisfaction Score. No matter what the channel (self-service, email, phone, chat or in-person) we aim to deliver service that goes above and beyond. THE ROLE

Joining our team means doing what you love - helping people. Through phone, chat, and email, you will be interfacing with our wonderful customers, and working through various questions to help make their event a success. Your mastery of the Eventbrite platform will be invaluable as you guide our English and Dutch customers in learning the best ways to set up and manage events, resolve any day-of-event concerns, and maximise the toolset to ensure a great experience. Ultimately, your goal will be to delight our customers and send them away with greater knowledge and a smile.

THE SKILL SET

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English
  • A proactive, make-it-happen attitude
  • Receptiveness to feedback and coaching with a desire to continuously improve
  • Demonstrated aptitude and love for providing exceptional customer service
  • A natural enthusiasm for resolving problems in an ever-evolving environment
  • Stamina and focus to provide support to dozens of contacts per day with a smile
  • A great sense of humour
  • Tech fluency – you’ll become an expert in our product and can learn new technology at lightning speed, as well as help and teach others!

About our Cork Office

Eventbrite's Cork office is a listed, 19th century building that used to be home to a national bank. The high ceilings and huge windows create light and space for the busy, growing team and, at every turn, there is something to discover - from the office library to the real-life vault in the basement!

Having started out as a customer services base, the Cork office is now home to a host of different teams and has a distinct energy as Britelings across different functions collaborate and support each other. The kitchen is full of tasty snacks and you can grab lunch in the break-out area which features a specially commissioned piece of art by a local Cork artist.

Yoga classes on the top floor, a herb garden in the kitchen and meeting rooms named after local landmarks add to the culture of the office - one of pride, growth and fun!
