THE CHALLENGE

At Eventbrite, we aim to deliver groundbreaking event organizer tools and attendee experiences, globally. We’re looking for an experienced leader to head up our global Brand Operations and Production team.


THE TEAM

The Eventbrite Brand team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group of strategist, designers,researchers and makers, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product. We are specialists within our individual products, as well as our areas of expertise. Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers and other functions, we conceptualize and craft designs for experiences that will define the success of our business and our brand for the future.


THE ROLE

As the Director of Brand Operations and Production, you will report to the Chief Brand Officer and apply your deep experience of managing fast paced teams, and producing world-class creative to this multi-disciplinary group of Britelings. You are a strong voice in the room that knows when to say yes, when to say something isn’t possible, and when to say “yes, but here’s how.”   You are a leader, an influencer, a mentor, and a practitioner. You move skillfully across big picture program management to detailed project management. You are as happy balancing a budget as you are bringing creative to life. You make things happen, and you wake up everyday excited by the unknown ahead.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Partner with the Chief Brand Officer and creative leadership to facilitate resource management, production processes, external partners and budget management.
  • Bring a proactive approach to developing global resources to streamline creative processes and assets across our creative team, and external partnerships
  • Manage global workflow of the creative team within a dynamic environment; anticipate and identify challenges and demands to allocate projects across directors and designers.
  • Take ownership of the global asset management process and system; develop the digital asset management’s capabilities
  • Partner with creative leadership to identify, vet and select agency partners; negotiate contracts and direct positive external relationships.
  • Source and manage creative collaborators, project managers and partners to augment the team, as needed.
  • Manage budgets and creative spending; oversee and report on creative production costs; suggest process improvements for cost-saving opportunities and justification for incremental budget requirements.

THE SKILL SET

  • At least 10 years of program management and creative production in an agency or internal studio environment
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing digital product or platform build processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strong-minded leaders outside of the design function
  • Self-aware teammate with highly developed emotional intelligence
  • Ability to clearly set and juggle priorities to focus on the most important issues
  • Extraordinary communication and partnering skills, including prior experience communicating to senior-level executives
