THE TEAM

Our Briteling Experience (BX) team is charged with attracting, engaging, and retaining the diverse talent we need to win. We seek to understand the conditions of each team around the globe and adopt solutions reactively, and increasingly, proactively in order to build the employee experience necessary for Britelings to perform exceptionally.

 

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Director of Total Rewards to design, develop, and execute a global Total Rewards program. This individual will lead a small but mighty team driving all things compensation and benefits, including base pay, variable/incentive bonus plans, and long-term incentive plans including equity-based programs, while also ensuring the delivery of a thoughtful and competitive global benefits program. 

 

YOU WILL

  • Establish yourself as the trusted advisor, leader, and subject matter expert to the Executive Team and Board of Directors Compensation Committee regarding a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy
  • Drive Eventbrite’s success with a thoughtful and robust Total Rewards strategy that drives business objectives and supports, rewards and recognizes talent globally with effective and efficient solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with global leaders, key partners, and within Briteling Experience (BX) team to successfully design, strengthen, and implement a Total Rewards strategy to attract and retain employees
  • Ensure global compensation structure and benchmarking is competitive and aligned with our philosophy within all regional markets
  • Drive successful design, execution and communication of reward programs, such as salary/promotion review, equity programs, bonus programs, and executive compensation reviews
  • Ensure global benefits program and plans meet the evolving needs of our Britelings in an innovative way across all regional markets
  • Monitors and evaluates all health and welfare benefit programs, ensures programs are current to trend, practices, company philosophy and competitive environment
  • You will establish industry-leading global rewards and recognition practices; create innovative, scalable processes; achieve optimal utilization of our Total Rewards budget and resources
  • This position will research and bring in-depth understanding of external best-practices and innovative trends to apply them to Total Rewards programs and technologies

THE SKILL SET

  • 8+ years of Total Rewards experience with comprehensive responsibilities, including 6+ years in the development and oversight of compensation and benefits programs in fast-paced, global, public companies
  • Proven experience as a strong organizational leader including the development and motivation of employees, prioritizing objectives, driving strategic plans, measuring effectiveness, and high business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical skills inclusive of producing budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to effectively manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • Background in building relationships with global cross-functional teams, vendors and partners
  • Familiarity with Workday, Radford, Compensia, and other global compensation and benefit providers and tools
  • Self-directed but able to be cross-functionally collaborative with employees and teams at all levels
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-moving environment, fast-growing technology companies
  • Calm in the face of uncertainty; comfortable working in a dynamic environment

  • Experience with M&A requirements, transitions and integrations
