THE ROLE

As the Executive Assistant, you will bring your expertise to Eventbrite and provide administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and to the Global Marketing and Brand Team. Your project management and administrative skills will help you organize meetings and events, maintain calendars, file expense reports, open purchase orders, manage travel arrangements, and submit weekly reports for the CMO. You will also help run operational meetings and prepare documents and presentations for monthly operational reviews. You will join team meetings and be an important liaison who supports and represents the Marketing and Brand team with external and internal partners. In our hybrid working environment you will help us to find creative ways of fostering connection as a team both in person and remotely.

You will be a trusted resource for the Chief Marketing Officer and broader team, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally. You will support the Chief Marketing Officer and play a vital role in ensuring that the Marketing & Brand team partners effectively with others across the organization to serve our customers and drive our business. As a partner to cross-functional teams, we tie our goals to our company priorities, driving towards shared OKRs, strategies and processes to unify and push the brand and business forward.

THE SKILLSET

  • Experienced: Previous experience with executive support, communications, project management, operations and planning preferred.
  • Results Oriented: You have an innate ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently. You take initiative, work independently and have exceptional attention to detail. You are able to juggle complex schedules and tough requests and keep your composure.
  • Strategic: You are highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines, projects, and stakeholders. You have excellent project leadership skills and can keep track of deadlines and deliverables associated with multiple workstreams. 
  • Creative: We’re looking for individuals eager to try new things and take chances to adapt how the Global Marketing & Brand function operates. You successfully demonstrate the capability for creative problem solving. You are able to seek out answers and drive solutions autonomously.
  • Interpersonal Communications Skills: You have the ability to authentically listen and communicate (written and verbally) in a way that allows you to reach internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborative: You build collaborative relationships with the Marketing & Brand team and its cross-functional partners (Comms, Product, Talent Acquisition and HR, Tech, and Legal among others). You possess a strong presence and level of comfort engaging with team members and business leaders of all levels.
  • Flexible: You have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and feel comfortable with ambiguity. You are able to work with evolving systems and structures, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to changing environments while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Personable: As an ambassador of Eventbrite, you embody the spirit of the company both internally and externally. You are an awesome teammate; always willing to share, and support so that everyone is aligned. You are someone who is collaborative and seeks common ground, solutions, and ways to make it happen.
