THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has built its business on empowering event creators with solutions to enable their success. In the process, we have touched millions of customers, helping them get together, explore their interests, and pursue their passions through live experiences. As the Platform team, our goal is to deliver a platform that is reliable, scalable, and provides a great experience for the engineers building product on top of it. Our Platform is our product and Eventbrite’s engineers are our customers.

THE TEAM

You’ll be joining a global team of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers and Designers who are focused on building a product that empowers and enables customers to participate in great live experiences. We are passionate about events, motivated, collaborative, and a fun-loving team responsible for a high-growth, global business.

THE ROLE

As part of this role, you will build and leverage a technical strategy to enable our engineers to achieve our company goals. And you’ll use this knowledge to find alignment between multiple platform teams to achieve maximum impact.

YOU WILL

  • Manage technical Product Managers
  • Build and evangelize the technical vision for our internal Platform
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Product outside of the Platform team to ensure your team is delivering the most impactful products
  • Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision
  • Define and track success metrics and objectives
  • Get your hands dirty and go deeper into execution when necessary

THE SKILL SET

  • 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years of people management
  • Developer Empathy: Excited about building great user experiences for developers
  • Experience managing/mentoring PMs
  • Experience building highly technical products
  • Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
