Growth Marketing Specialist

Full-time | London | England | United Kingdom

Over the past 10 years the Eventbrite team has grown from a small but mighty group in San Francisco to a global community of 1,000 employees in over 12 countries. A major focus of our strategic plan has been an investment in the large opportunity across continental Europe. The Growth Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in how we acquire event creators across Europe, building our brand at every customer touchpoint.

The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralised, multi-disciplinary group of marketers, strategists, designers and creators, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and collaborators to connect with, and support our customers at every touchpoint. Eventbrite’s Europe Marketing team is based primarily in the UK and our campaigns reach event creators in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Benelux and beyond.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist with strong analytical skills and experience managing digital campaigns. The perfect person for this role has a passion for digital media, a good understanding of marketing tactics to acquire new customers, and a desire to learn new skills.

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of our digital campaigns and acquisition programs. This could include a variety of marketing channels depending on the campaigns we’re running at any given time, including Digital Advertising, Email, and Marketing Landing Pages.

The role will require an analytical approach, often using data to determine the best course of action to define our campaigns, so that we hit our quarterly lead generation targets across Europe. A key part of this role will be to communicate our progress throughout the organisation.

It’s a multi-faceted role for someone to develop new skills, with the opportunity to contribute to Eventbrite’s growth within Europe, and ultimately the growth of a company that powers millions of live experiences globally.

This role is based in London, UK, and reports into the Director of Acquisition Marketing, Europe.

  • Run demand generation campaigns and action plans to drive customer acquisition in our key Europe markets, for both our sales and self-service event creators
  • Partner with other members of the Europe Marketing team to execute projects in multiple channels including CRM, Email, Performance Marketing and including recommendations for web page and content optimisation
  • Analyse the drivers of lead generation, making recommendations that will increase our overall new business volume and quality, and improve our efficiency
  • Identify, evaluate, and test new digital channels and acquisition opportunities, through customer focused insights and/or implementation of new technologies or paid partnerships

  • 2-3 years experience working in a marketing team or agency
  • Proficient in AdWords, Display Advertising, Facebook, the Google suite and remarketing tech and tools
  • A basic to intermediate level of understanding of website management, analytics and SEO
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and how it can be used to uncover on-site customer behaviour
  • A growth hacker mindset and ability to think outside the box
  • A bias towards execution with a proven ability to make things happen
  • Strong analytical skills reflected through an ability to translate ambiguity and complexity into clarity and actionability

  • Have used (and loved) Eventbrite as an organiser, attendee, or both!
  • Prior experience with the tools we use to power our marketing efforts: Marketo, Wordpress, Salesforce, Tableau and Google Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or digital marketing or related disciple
