Over the past 10 years, the Eventbrite team has grown from a small but mighty group in San Francisco to a global community of 800+ employees in over 10 countries. We are scaling our People Operations team to support our domestic and international expansion, and continue our investment in our #1 asset: our people (our “Britelings”).

As a HRIS Manager, you will focus on secure administration of all HR Systems, including, but not limited to: Workday HRIS, Lever, Culture Amp, etc.  You will be responsible for all business process configurations, testing, and deployment for our HR systems, while ensuring data integrity.  You are super process-oriented, love to drive change within an organization, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a HRIS Manager to help support our Britelings and drive operational efficiency. You will be part of our larger Briteling Experience function which includes: Business Partners, People Operations, Recruiting, and Facilities. You will partner with cross functional teams from Payroll, Accounting, IT, Recruiting, and Business Partners. Eventbrite uses Workday as our core HRIS and HCM solution, Lever as our ATS, and a number of other core HR Systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with Workday and other HR systems experience to continuously improve our technology solutions and operations.  


  • Lead complex HRIS projects including configuration, testing and implementation, particularly in the areas of Integrations, Core/Advanced Compensation, Security, Business Process Management, Reports and Dashboards.
  • Partner with SVP HR and other leaders to develop reporting functionality allowing leaders to easily track key business drivers such as retention, engagement and performance. 
  • Partner with our internal Compliance team to ensure timely completion of audit requests, data governance activity, and internal audit checks.
  • Manage Workday’s foundational tables including but not limited to cost centers, companies, locations, plan types, etc.
  • Audit, generate, and support mass EIB loads into Workday.
  • Create, maintain, and schedule notifications and reports, including the creation of calculated fields, notifications, and alerts as requested across the organization.
  • Partner closely with global teams including People Operations, Talent, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Finance, and Payroll to understand system end user needs to translate into system requirements and documentation of those requirements and solutions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for certain Workday data related projects, acting as a liaison between the cross-functional teams and third parties; collaborate with all; to effectively prioritize and execute projects managing project team activities, tasks, deliverables and timelines.
  • Lead and advise the business teams in assessing technology needs, developing and documenting business requirements and functional specifications, developing testing strategies, conducting acceptance testing and implementing solutions.
  • Be up to date with functionality enhancements delivered through Workday updates and provide ongoing recommendations/system solutions to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient. Lead and communicate system related releases, upgrades and enhancements.


  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources business processes of payroll, benefits, compensation, and learning/development, recruiting and supporting functions.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time; and the ability to work on many projects with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high concentration on attention to detail.
  • Can-do, make it happen attitude.
  • Self-starter and operational problem solver.
  • Ability to create simple, scalable processes.
  • Demonstrated history of significant customer deliverables, building rapport, and influencing decisions working in a consultative role with the business and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in MS office products & Google Suite applications
  • BA or BS degree


  • Global HR experience
  • Experience implementing impactful HR analytics
