The Marketing team works to build authentic, enduring connections with event creators. Our efforts to educate, acquire, and retain event creators are essential in transforming Eventbrite into an iconic customer-centric brand that brings the world together through live experiences.



The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group of strategists, designers, researchers and makers, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future of the Eventbrite brand through every touchpoint and interaction we have with our customers. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and collaborators to connect with, and support our customers.



Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer - We’re looking for an analytical marketer with a deep understanding of both B2B marketing and growth funnel optimization, focused on reimagining a more efficient and unified acquisition journey for Eventbrite creators. You will own the funnel from the moment a prospect hits the website, until it converts into a 1PP (either through sales or SSO), and be responsible for optimizing for the highest margin output. You are passionate about delivering results that drive the business forward, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. This role will involve both high-level strategy work as well as hands-on execution. We're looking for a flexible and collaborative team player who works well in groups where tasks are often shared.


  • Develop and execute the strategy to unite our two funnels, increasing the overall conversion to 1PP, and giving us clear levers to control the quality and volume of leads that we deliver to the sales team. 
  • Be an energetic, thoughtful partner to both sales leadership and product leadership, collaborating closely on a day-to-day basis to achieve shared goals
  • Have experience managing a diverse team of digital marketing specialists through mentorship, goal setting, and positive motivation
  • Drive marketing strategy and demand generation initiatives that create and convert leads through the optimal channel (SSO or sales)
  • Demonstrate leadership and influence across the broader organization, getting buy-in for your initiatives and surfacing opportunities to drive results for the broader business 
  • Have a “test & learn” mindset with the mentality to continually assess KPIs to monitor business performance
  • Identify, instrument, forecast and measure results against key performance indicators, including regularly providing updates to stakeholders across the business 
  • Analyze progress to plan, report on the results of individual initiatives and key milestones, and provide proactive optimization recommendations  
  • Have strong knowledge in email marketing, marketing automation and operations.  
  • Forecast, analyze, and develop action plans to improve the impact of demand generation activities on sales pipeline, SSO 1PPs, revenue and conversion cycle length
  • Identify and remove roadblocks for the team, whether it is an issue with a key piece of technology, limited budget, constrained resources or conflicting priorities
  • Be confident in building out new expertise within the team including a new marketing operations function


  • Self starter with a roll up your sleeves and figure it out spirit - we are a lean team and need people who thrive off a fast-paced environment
  • Proven history working in partnership with sales to drive demand through various marketing channels with a focus on content and data-driven marketing
  • Strategic experience with, Hubspot, Salesforce, and other marketing / sales automation technologies
  • Strong knowledge in lead routing, evaluation and lead decisioning. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with both a B2B sales demand generation funnel and higher velocity self-service funnels
  • Strong team building skills - experience managing and mentoring those early in their careers
  • Analytical mindset, thorough understanding of how to build a story through data
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present to executives and build consensus and buy-in
  • Strong facilitator within and across teams: You know how to drive results by leveraging all of your resources
  • World-class organizational and project management skills 

  • This is a fixed-term contract.
