The Junior Developer is a critical role on the Customer Experience team. This position requires strong application development and communication skills, and is focused on creating and improving the applications and functionality that enable our customer support teams.
Implement beautiful user interfaces for desktop, mobile and tablet browsers that delight our users and match our brand
Be part of a team that is reinventing how help is accessed (via contact us) and online answers are provided (via Help Center)
Work closely with Product Management, UX, and Design, giving input on what is both intuitive and feasible
Contribute to front end architectural improvements and create shared interactive components that span our service
Work in an environment where we move quickly, are always learning, and enjoy a challenge
Maintain the custom code base with best in class Software Engineering practices on the SFDC and Eventbrite platform. You care about making sure your code is maintainable and well tested.
Own development projects to enhance Web Applications and Services available for multiple users around the world and the Salesforce.com (SFDC) application
Perform minor configuration enhancements on the Force.com application per business requirements
Support and enhance existing applications
THE CORE TECH STACK
Eventbrite’s primary tech stack is Python, Django, and MySQL, all running on AWS, and this is the main sandbox we play in. However, because this team interfaces with many other teams, there’s potential to many other pieces of our broader tech stack (Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, ElasticSearch, etc). Our Salesforce stack also includes: Salesforce (SFDC), Marketo, and Gainsight.
