Manager, Finance Intelligence and Analytics

At Eventbrite, we are seeking to add an inquisitive analytical leader to manage the Finance Business Intelligence team. Using your technical skills, business acumen, and creativity, you will build tools to automate reports and generate insights that will allow the finance organization to quickly and accurately access our business performance.

The successful individual should have previous experience managing finance system projects, providing business intelligence, writing complex SQL, building automated reports, and integrating closely with the finance teams. You will be involved in projects from inception to delivery, ensuring a high degree of accuracy. 


This role will sit within the finance organization, where you will build solutions to surface key data, collaborate with data engineering teams, build automated reports, and help optimize financial processes. Your contributions will be crucial to ensuring the data foundation for the finance organization.



This contribution to Eventbrite’s finance organization is crucial. The first stage will involve hands-on work to lay the foundation before the second stage, where you will build out a team. 


  • You will partner closely with the finance leaders and their teams, creating short term and long term roadmap and delivering solutions that fit their evolving needs. 
  • You will also partner closely with data engineering teams to operationalize and scale data solutions for the finance organization. 
  • You will get to lead multiple projects and priorities from the finance organization.
  • You will build a team of data analysts from the ground up.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or finance-related field
  • 5 - 7 years of industry experience as a technical analyst
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating technical teams
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with large-scale raw data
  • Experience with Tableau and/or other BI tools
  • Excellent verbal communications with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators
  • Mindset for optimizing processes
