THE TEAM


The Corporate Real Estate and Workplace (CREW) team partners directly with local Business Units to help them achieve Eventbrite’s mission of “bringing the world together through live experiences”.  We call our offices the “Briteland” and our colleagues “Britelings”. 


This is a ground floor opportunity to help Eventbrite, Inc. (NYSE-EB) stand up its brand new Indian Development Centre in Hyderabad.  You will partner closely with all departments to help build core service deliverables through your passion for all things Workplace, Procurement, and Culture.  You will develop and implement new office service offerings, prioritize deliverables, and make recommendations around the optimal allocation of resources to help the company achieve ambitious operating plans. In addition to your functional Workplace experience, Eventbrite is looking for entrepreneurial “brand ambassadors” for EVERY new role as we scale.  This will ensure we build an intentional, meaningful, and enviable Culture to set us apart from day one.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a hands-on Office Manager, Administration to join a BRAND NEW team of mission driven technology professionals.  You will help us stand up initial workplace operations for our new India Dev Center. You will partner directly with the MD, your colleagues in HR (the Briteling Experience), IT (Britetech), and fellow Workplace team members in our offices across the globe.  You will help merge the very best Briteling Experiences at the intersection of the physical office space (Briteland), people (Britelings), and a market leading Culture. 


Eventbrite believes in impact over activity. We define “work” as what we do (our outputs); not necessarily where we get it done. This means you will be managing a flexible work environment for the Britelings we empower. You will help scope, procure, install and support service delivery both inside and outside the 4 physical walls of the office. In the physical office, this includes hands-on daily execution and oversight of all typical in-office support services, procurement, P&L responsibilities, daily observational analysis, supporting vendor management, and space planning initiatives to align with our rapidly scaling business needs.

YOU WILL

  • Be the sole hands-on Workplace leader inside the 4 walls of the Briteland in Hyderabad
  • Have a white-glove approach for hands-on support, including all office administration, office services, Facilities budget, and other operational needs
  • Be the primary liaison with the landlord and building management
  • Manage security, cleaning, or service staff as we scale
  • Maintain space planning and partner with others on project management of Workplace initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with local business leaders to anticipate future facility and service needs
  • Be a born negotiator.  Help scope, source, and negotiate a variety of Workplace service contracts
  • Own the Hyderabad Workplace P&L
  • Facilitate the procure to pay process with supporting vendors including, creation of POs, invoice tracking, and partnering with Finance on timely invoice payments
  • Responsible for budget and expense management, including reconciliation of spend
  • Partners closely with HR for a smooth and productive Briteling onboarding experience
  • Be an active and influential member of the Culture Committee
  • Manage central services through self or others: maintenance and upkeep/tidiness of the office, reception, shipping/mail, customs, transportation, office stock, kitchen, catering, cleaning vendors, couriers, utilities, electrical, hvac, plants, ergonomics, furniture, electrical, hotel/housing contracts, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with all lines of business, especially IT and HR to effect a seamless and empowered Briteling Experience
  • Assist business leaders across functions to maximize Briteling engagement and satisfaction, and help them achieve operating plans
  • Partner heavily with HR and the MD to remain aligned on current Health & Safety trends
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, compliant with local laws and global Eventbrite safety initiatives
  • Conduct annual review of vendor base to optimize and adjust scope, pricing, value, and performance management
  • Oversee annual renewal of vendor agreements
  • Maintain actionable metrics and dashboards
  • Flexible work hours to support company events and community engagement

THE SKILL SET

  • At least 5 years Workplace Management or Office Services experience in a fast paced rapidly growing technology company including vendor, sourcing, invoicing, and ownership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated Procurement responsibilities required
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business unit leaders
  • Ability to engage, influence and partner closely to proactively ensure Workplace needs are properly vetted and met
  • Experience establishing scalable standard operating procedures supporting a high growth company
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing service delivery with a variety of vendor participants
  • Track record of strong vendor scope, negotiation, and management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Exceptional organizational skills; comfortable self-prioritizing deadlines
  • An independent, autonomous and enthusiastic hands-on approach to all tasks; willing to roll-up your sleeves to help other teams anytime
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident yet approachable demeanor
  • Diligent budget manager and value creator
  • Hands on working knowledge of the Google Suite or MS Office Suite, and proven comfort level with a variety of typical corporate systems
