As the People Operations Coordinator, you will own the day to day administration of local People Operations and must provide superior internal and external customer service.  You’ll serve as the first line of support for employee questions regarding on-boarding, benefits, Workday, people policies and programs, and respond in a timely manner and/or redirect questions to the right people.

 

THE TEAM

Eventbrite’s People Operations team is dedicated to creating and delivering an exceptional Briteling experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle with efficient and seamless people processes, policies, systems, and programs. THE ROLE

We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator who can support our Britelings and team members. You will be part of our larger Briteling Experience function which includes: Business Partners, People Operations, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Recruiting. You will partner with cross functional teams from Payroll, Accounting, IT, Recruiting, and Business Partners on a daily basis. Excitement and a desire to grow your systems knowledge will help you thrive (required to be successful) in this role. You are self-motivated with a strong emphasis on being detail oriented and a strong communicator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a subject matter advisor for local and global people policies, processes and tools
  • Identify gaps and breakdowns in our people processes and drives improvements to enhance efficiency and experience
  • Support the Site Leadership team with day-to-day operations and facility management
  • Prepare and process documentation for new hires, local requirements, employee status and compensation changes; relocations, internal transfers, promotions, employee certification requests,  termination documentation, etc.
  • Meticulous attention-to-detail, especially with data integrity and management in Workday
  • Stays up-to-date with local employment laws and takes the appropriate action to ensure the company is compliant 
  • Drives and owns non-routine employee transactions
  • Submit contract approvals, invoice submission, and create purchase orders
  • Provide top notch customer service to employees and external vendors
  • Coordinate and assist with people programs and projects
  • Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance
  • Partner with team members to pull requisite reports
  • Own data entry for new hires, employees  and other miscellaneous items
  • Field employment verification requests
  • Create and maintain employee files ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Process new hire paperwork
  • Work closely with hiring managers, Regional BX Lead  and cross functional teams to ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding
  • The liaison and link to our internal company  processes and remove any barriers to the talent agency getting the hiring done and meeting the KPIs we established

THE SKILL SET

  • Fluent in English. Can communicate, read, and write effectively in English.
  • BA or BS degree
  • 1 - 2 years of HR experience, ideally at a rapidly growing company
  • Workday experience is a plus
  • Strong time management skills
  • Can-do, make it happen attitude
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Self-starter and operational problem solver
  • Ability to create and scale people processes and programs
  • High level of confidentiality and data integrity
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Great team player, but with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
  • Thorough with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
