THE CHALLENGE

The North America Marketing team works to build authentic, enduring connections with event creators in North America. Our efforts to educate, acquire, and retain event creators are essential in transforming Eventbrite into an iconic customer-centric brand that brings the world together through live experiences.


THE TEAM

The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group of strategists, designers, researchers and makers, who work across product groups and functions. We are designing the future and the today of the Eventbrite brand through every interaction within and outside of the product. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and collaborators to connect with and support our customers.


THE ROLE

We’re looking for a rockstar Performance Marketing Manager who will take a data-driven, analytical approach to the North America paid media program across search, display and social. You understand paid media in the B2B space, and you’re always on the search for the next big way to drive meaningful growth. You must have excellent written communication skills, a keen attention to detail, are able to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines, and has proven experience driving results.

YOU WILL

  • Execute performance-based acquisition and retention marketing efforts across a variety of digital channels and tactics
  • Manage our agency of record to ensure accountability across implementation and results
  • Analyze marketing campaign data to regularly assess ongoing value of acquisition efforts, ultimately leading to improved ROI
  • Work directly with third-party vendors and key internal stakeholders to collaborate on strategy and drive results
  • Build comprehensive dashboards that track channel and campaign KPIs to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal Design team to develop and refresh campaign assets, as well as proactively share learnings and results with key partners
  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital campaigns that drive demand in North America
  • Work cross-functionally to align campaign strategies and goals across the North American Marketing team, including event creator acquisition and retention
  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs
  • Help oversee and manage our overall paid media budget
  • Work closely with our paid media agency to adjust strategy, instruct their execution, manage budgets, and stay on top of reporting
  • Analyze campaign performance—including effectiveness of a/b testing, ad copy variations, and audiences—and share key insights with relevant stakeholders
  • Understand campaign metrics, analyze results, and optimize content accordingly. Use data to develop strategies that drive pipeline and revenue 
  • Work closely with the Global Performance Marketing team to ensure best practices are being shared globally
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

THE SKILL SET

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital media strategy / planning either on the agency or brand side, with a focus on B2B
  • Self starter with a roll up your sleeves and figure it out spirit - we are a lean team and need people who thrive off a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven mindset and understanding of how to measure the performance of various types of paid media marketing programs and optimize 
  • Strong facilitator within and across teams: You know how to drive results by leveraging all of your resources
  • World-class organizational and project management skills 
  • Experience working with third-party agencies and vendors to communicate strategy, monitor performance, and collaborate to drive results
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize spend via tactics such as creative rotation strategy and A/B testing
  • Extensive knowledge of analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics and Facebook Insights preferred) as well as native advertising platforms (Facebook Ad Manager, Facebook Business Manager, and Google AdWords) 
  • Experience with handling direct from publisher ad buys
