THE CHALLENGE

In the last decade, Eventbrite and has grown from a small US company to a complex global business, with operations in over 186 countries and 10 offices worldwide. Accompanying this exciting growth is any number of complex regulations and laws impacting, among others, commercial business dealings, payment services, privacy, and ticketing that challenge our day to day operations.  Rather that simply react, we want to get out in front, advocate for Eventbrite’s business objectives and our community of users, and form relationships that will propel our mission.

THE TEAM

Sitting within the legal department, the Eventbrite policy team partners with internal and external stakeholders to share the Eventbrite story in a way that lends a voice to our community and drive business growth.  We seek opportunities at the local and state level, federally, and internationally to advocate for positions we value, and creating opportunity for social impact consistent with those values. The Eventbrite policy team also works with legal and our customer facing teams to create and assist in implementing internal policy strategy.
