Events are complicated. Our role as designers is to minimize the complexity of both attending and hosting events while making the lives of our users easier. As a designer across a wide ranging product, you think systematically in ways that benefit other parts of the product. You’re constantly challenged to think about holistically across a product while sweating the smaller details. You will be tasked with defining inventive products aligned to business needs and intuitive solutions that solve customer needs.


We are a cross-disciplinary group of designers distributed across product teams. We are specialists within our individual product groups, as well as generalists across the Eventbrite platform. Working together with Product Managers, Engineers and other Designers we conceptualize and define designs for future roadmap features that will have a major impact across the entire experience.


As a designer on the Ticketing team, your role will impact the day-to-day lives of organizers around the world. From photography classes to 100,000 person music festivals, you will design experiences that make creating these events as easy and delightful as possible. You’ll leverage and communicate vast amounts of data to our users that keep them informed and up to date on their events. For organizers and attendees alike, you will design solutions for getting into events seamlessly and utilize emerging technologies to amplify the at event experience for everyone in attendance. You believe in innovative solutions for both traditional purchase flows and other tools organizers use to make their lives easier and better.


  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
  • Excellent storytelling skills presenting and communicating your work
  • Caring about the business value design provides to an organization
  • Deep understanding of modern design and prototyping tools
  • Real passion for motion design as a form of guidance and sweating over the details
  • Comfort working in any platform, whether responsive web or native (iOS, Android)
  • Communicator of design best practices from brainstorming with stakeholders to delivering redlines to engineering
  • Effective at implementing and contributing to an evolving design system
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real live work and why you care about the things you’ve helped create
