Full-time | Villena | Valencian Community | Spain

THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite’s mission is to deliver the world’s most powerful live music platform. To do this, we need to make the experience of our music venue and festival organizers as comprehensive and delightful as possible. As our platform continues to grow and develop, we are seeking an experienced Product Designer to help research and collaborate in the design of new and existing product solutions for our music creators.

THE TEAM

Design is a core part of our DNA at Eventbrite. We are a centralized design team that values partnering and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to make a positive impact on our user's lives and business. To that end, we are embedded in product teams so we can specialize in getting to know our users, collaborate, and focus on our products. We care deeply about our design craft and value constructive design feedback as an opportunity to improve and keep growing. We believe in engaging with the professional community, participating in regular programs and events with some of the most influential professionals in design.

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Product Designer to help design the future of our reserved seating experience on Eventbrite, as part of the Music team. We are looking for a creative designer that can evolve Eventbrite’s mapping system into an industry-defining solution. You’ll work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with design peers throughout our global organization to ensure alignment with our overall strategy.

You should thrive working with small teams that move fast and iteratively. You start with intuition but validate your work through user research and testing, delivering features that provide business value in an agile, collaborative environment.

YOU WILL

  • Deliver project work, from research through creation of design specifications
  • Guide products towards solutions that are unquestionably simple, intuitive, and “just work” for our users
  • Work closely with design leadership and fellow leads to ensure a cohesive user experience across our entire product ecosystem
  • Act as the point of escalation for any design-related issues within your business unit

THE SKILL SET

  • You have roughly 3-5 years design experience in a design environment, in-house, start-up, agency or other relevant industry.
  • A user-centered approach to designing software and services for people
  • Demonstrated experience leading across the entire design discipline spectrum, from analytical to expressive
  • Experience facilitating discussions and exercises with engineers and product managers to drive strategy, vision, and execution
  • Self-aware teammate with highly developed emotional intelligence
  • Ability to clearly set and juggle priorities to focus on the most important issues
  • Consistently demonstrate good judgement. Able to make decisions at the right level, and escalate issues to design leadership as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, including prior experience communicating to senior-level executives

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A Company focus on talent development
  • Eventbrite full compensation & Perks plan.
  • Share options (your piece of EB pie!).
  • Health & Wellness Program.
  • Remote work policy (1-2 days a week)
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Profesional development & training paths.
  • English speaking company.
  • International Career options.
  • A young dynamic team with a ‘let's make it happen’ mentality.
  • Team lunches and team offsites.
  • Lots of fancy snacks, fruits, drinks & happy hours.
  • Food vouchers
  • A family-friendly environment.
