Product Marketing Manager - UK & Ireland

Full-time | London | England | United Kingdom

THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite powers hundreds of thousands of events in the UK every year.  As our business evolves it’s critical that the UK customer’s needs are reflected within global product prioritisation - and that our brand positioning reflects the needs of the local market.

THE TEAM

The Global Product Marketing team inspires event creators to achieve their goals using Eventbrite’s platform, working closely with Product, Business Development, Customer Support, and Marketing.

Sitting with the UK Marketing team and the only Product Marketer in our territory, your mission will be to put the needs of the UK customer at the heart of everything we say and do - shaping and executing go-to-market plans; educating event creators, and driving product awareness and adoption.

THE ROLE

Eventbrite is looking for a product marketer to grow brand advocacy and lead the execution of go-to-market strategies in UK and Ireland. You’ll craft product positioning, grow brand awareness in our target segments, generate and capture demand, and drive customer retention. You’ll strategically evaluate our customer needs, market perception, competitive landscape, and our product capabilities to build and execute on multi-channel GTM strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role has deep customer empathy, understands complex product offerings, and can communicate their benefits in a simple, compelling way.

YOU WILL

  • Produce online guides, checklists, blog posts, videos and other types of content to engage new and high-value customers.
  • Partner with Product Marketers to develop product messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborate with Product, Help Center, Content Marketing, Social Media, Customer Marketing, and PR teams to execute product marketing content strategy.
  • Create and host webinars to educate customers about various aspects of our product.
  • Work with the design team to develop creative assets to support education initiatives.
  • Train and enable sales with customer-facing presentations and product trainings.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to inform product positioning and content.
  • Execute research, surveys and interviews to understand customer needs and goals.

THE SKILL SET

  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing or brand marketing experience in the technology industry, with a deep customer obsession.
  • Proven track record in building a brand in market, and in planning and successfully executing product launches across a diverse set of channels.
  • Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and expertise at managing multiple work streams.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, with uncanny ability to get into the mind of your customers.
  • Expert storyteller, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical functionality into compelling and page-turning  customer-centric narratives.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with some public speaking experience.
  • Creativity, cross-functional empathy, comfort with ambiguity and change, and a “make it happen” spirit.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience working as part of a remote team, building strong HQ relationships and influencing effectively for local market needs.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation, influencing across functional and business unit lines.
  • B2B and/or SAAS company experience.
  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events.
