THE CHALLENGE

At Eventbrite, our mission is to bring the world together through live experiences. We seek a B2B marketing specialist to oversee our regional marketing efforts in APAC and drive event creator acquisition and retention across our target creator segments.

 

THE TEAM

The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring and retaining customers, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event creators and event goers. We are data driven and biased towards action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers. 

 

THE ROLE

The Regional Marketing Manager will play a central role in driving Eventbrite’s growth in the APAC region. We’re looking for an up-and-coming marketing star who can oversee all regional marketing activity while being the voice of Eventbrite in the local events community. 

 

A successful candidate will possess strong strategic instincts and the executional skills to turn any strategy into reality. You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of our ideal target customers, identify relevant local nuances, and use this knowledge to define tactics to reach and acquire event creators in your region.

 

You’ll partner with the central owners of our content, brand, SEO, demand generation, performance marketing, and product marketing efforts to ensure all activity is optimized for your region, while also working closely with the local sales team to support their efforts to reach and convert high-value customers. You’ll identify and partner with local event creators to bring their stories to life in a way that educates and inspires the events industry, and helps to make Eventbrite the trusted choice for live experiences in your region.

 

Reporting to the San Francisco based Commercial Marketing Lead, this full-time role is based in Melbourne.

YOU WILL

  • Define and execute a regional marketing plan that drives creator acquisition across our target creator segments.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and Product Growth teams to ensure all activity that reaches event creators in your region is highly relevant for the local market, including marketing landing pages, blog content, email, paid media campaigns, and more.
  • Develop strong relationships with local event creators and evangelize them both internally and externally.
  • Own all local community marketing efforts, including ideation, execution, and hosting of creator webinars and in-person events.
  • Support your local sales team with relevant and timely content and campaigns.
  • Monitor performance of all regionally driven marketing activity and report results to key stakeholders across the company.

THE SKILL SET

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably for a technology company.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present strategic concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as part of a distributed team.
  • Experience planning and hosting in-person and/or online events.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience building and managing a social media following.
