This key role will help us continue to discover, test, execute, and analyze the highest-impact growth drivers for our business, helping Eventbrite continue to scale around the globe.
The Growth and Acquisition Team works cross-functionally through the full funnel: data-driven marketing (ie: SEO, performance marketing), conversion rate optimization, user onboarding, virality, freemium, product upsells/upgrades, and more. We focus on the highest-impact areas that drive our numbers, with an emphasis on our self-service product for event creators (customers that sign up and start selling tickets on their own, without talking to Sales). We value working with teammates who achieve impact both on an individual level and in a collaborative team-oriented fashion – we drive impact while having fun doing so together.
Reporting directly to the VP of Growth & Acquisition, you will lead the charge in driving measurement, testing, and insights that lift our business around the world. You will play a key role in answering big strategic questions (ie: what big-picture trends are we seeing in the market, what new channels/strategies should we test and how are they performing, how should we best scale across four continents?) and crucial operational questions (ie: how are X, Y, and Z portions of the business performing and why, as well as how should we spend our incremental marketing dollars for most impact?).
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to hone their analytical thinking while building a deep understanding of our large-scale and dynamic business. You will leverage SQL query writing, data analysis, and data synthesis to report what’s happening, why it’s happening, and to recommend potential actions. The successful candidate will be a creative self-starter, proactively tackling unstructured problems, then clearly articulating analytical insights to business owners and cross-functional teams, helping them use insights that direct our collective efforts to the highest impact areas.
