Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, the Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for the on-going analysis, administration, complex issue resolution and communication of Eventbrite’s benefits plans.

Administers and communicates the company's benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. Surveys market data in order to determine Eventbrite’s competitive position in employee benefits. May assist in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs. May be involved with communication and implementation of wellness and health education initiatives. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws.


  • Have wide-ranging experience
  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Support the Senior Manager, Global Benefits with global benefit programs including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary programs, wellness, FSA, EAP, COBRA, 401(k)/pension, leave of absence, time-off, etc. for our Britelings around the globe
  • Have knowledge of leaves of absence and experience administering leaves of absence, including but not limited to PDL and FMLA/CFRA
  • Assist with US open enrollment, including HR system administration, data accuracy of benefit information, event planning, program renewals, and communications
  • Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers and vendors to ensure timely customer service and accurate cost-effective plan administration

  • Ensure plan compliance with regulatory filings, notices, ACA mandates, plan audits, non-discrimination testing, etc.

  • Ensure the reliability, accuracy and security of the benefit data used for reporting and analysis purposes; conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy in Eventbrite and 3rd party benefits systems of record
  • Review and reconcile monthly premium billings

  • Ensure benefit plan documentation, contracts and amendments are in compliance with federal,  state, and local requirements

  • Prepare required and ad hoc reports related to benefit costs, premium contributions, regulatory reporting


  • 8+ years of experience in employee benefits
  • International benefits is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively across internal teams, communicating clearly and comprehensively to meet project deadlines

  • Highly effective verbal and written communications skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to establish and maintain compliance of all plans and programs

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high, and potentially shifting, priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and able to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Strong customer service background

  • Practice a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality
