We’re looking for someone to help build a world-class business development team in Europe that consistently exceeds business targets, partners cross-functionally with our global teams, and helps write the playbook for our European market.


THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager in our European HQ office in London. This position will be focussed on the Consumer Events market, which includes categories like Food & Drink, Health & Wellness, Culture and Lifestyle events. As key market for Eventbrite, this role is critical for helping to set the direction for Eventbrite's UKI business development efforts in this space.

YOU WILL

  • Develop relationships with UKI event organisers to self generate new business opportunities in the Consumer Events space.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their goals, and discuss how Eventbrite can support them.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to showcase Eventbrite technology to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals - both self generated and lead nurtured.Manage a pipeline of business opportunities in a CRM, and provide accurate and regular forecasts to management
  • Work with sales management to develop and deliver ongoing business development strategy for the Consumer Events market.

THE SKILL SET

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in business development
  • Experience working with, and passion for, the Consumer Events market
  • History of over-performance in previous sales roles
  • Experienced and comfortable working to targets An analytical mindset and a creative spiritA can-do and agile attitude A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
