The Eventbrite Portfolio Marketing team brings solutions to market that empower event organizers across the globe to achieve their goals using Eventbrite’s platform. The team is responsible for driving business growth by defining and developing market segments, packaging and pricing of our solutions, and building integrated go-to-market strategies that aim to inspire and differentiate. We are also extremely passionate about building real connections with our customer base that result in high product use and brand loyalty.  



The Portfolio Marketing, Comms Manager will be responsible for executing and reporting on the performance of our customer communications. You’ll shape and automate our existing communications while looking for opportunities to expand the program to drive higher customer LTV. The primary channel for customer communications today is email so the perfect candidate would be a talented email marketing manager looking for opportunities to expand their expertise across other channels as they come online.


  • Partner with our customer marketing and product marketing teams to create a customer journey for event creators that maximizes LTV.
  • Setup, maintenance and quarterly review of recurring and triggered email communications to drive healthy product use and retention. 
  • Setup, execution and reporting of monthly newsletters, NPS surveys and ad-hoc customer communications.
  • Deployment of dynamic, content-driven campaigns that will drive deeper product use and customer loyalty.
  • Build email templates, analyze the results and perform A/B testing to iterate and improve upon results.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution.
  • Develop and maintain a clear CRM strategy.
  • Maintain and drive timely execution against the email calendar.
  • Maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns.
  • Help synthesize offers and content into effective email copy.
  • Create performance reports demonstrating the impact of customer comms on overall business goals and show how our testing strategy drives improvement over time .
  • Participate in pilots to bring new customer communications channels online including working out how to manage and report on contacts across channels.


  • 2-5 years creating and executing email marketing campaigns with a specific focus on customer communications 
  • Experience with email automation, HTML and email marketing software platforms, specifically Responsys, Marketo, Gainsight and/or MailChimp
  • Experience analyzing campaigns and demonstrable knowledge of setting up A/B testing as it pertains to email marketing
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills


  • Experience with other customer communication channels like Chatbots, Live Chat and In-Product Notifications
