  • Full-time

THE TEAM

Our small, but mighty, Global Communications team is charged with bringing Eventbrite into people’s hearts, minds, and conversations. We are storytellers, media relations experts and evangelists who take a creative approach towards all forms of communications- from external media relations and speaking opportunities, to internal All Hands meetings and global communication. We work closely with counterparts and peers across the company to surface interesting stories - and get them in the hands and heads of the masses.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Employee Communications Specialist, you’ll help scale Eventbrite’s internal communications program globally, driving efficiency and data-driven decisions that empower our team to tell inspiring stories internally. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Employee Communications, you’ll develop materials and programs that inform, inspire, and engage our global team of Britelings. You’ll partner with various key stakeholders across the business to understand their priorities and focus areas, then build strategic communication plans and recommendations to amplify their work and support their needs.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Own the team’s proactive internal editorial calendar, accounting for various communications needs across the company, in order to optimize communication cadence and channel distribution, ensuring employees feel informed, engaged, inspired and motivated
  • Drive increased engagement with Eventbrite’s intranet.
  • Monitor analytics and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations to share with content editors and owners. Train and guide new content contributors and site owners. Assist with testing and communication of new features.
  • Project manage regular audits of Eventbrite’s commonly-used communication channels to evaluate their impact and make recommendations to optimize.
  • Partner cross-functionally to create clear internal communications for company-wide programs (i.e. partnering with subject matter experts on product launches, policy rollouts, compliance, stock administration, performance management, etc.).
  • Develop and disseminate internal communications toolkits (think ready-made templates, examples, and guidelines) and training materials to enable employees to communicate more clearly, efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain close relationships with external communications and marketing teams to adjust and amplify their work internally, keeping employees informed and engaged.
  • Contribute to the strategy development and execution of highly visible, employee-facing moments, including global All Hands, leadership Q&A sessions, quarterly earnings releases, company-wide live experiences, change management projects, and more.
  • Begin to build and foster relationships with Eventbrite’s Executive team to support strategic communication initiatives and develop their internal thought leadership.

THE SKILL SET

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities; ability to condense complex ideas into simple, impactful messaging
  • Strong organization and relationship-building skills
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization - from individual contributors to executive leadership team
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Attention to detail and a “make it happen” spirit
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, proven ability to execute amid ambiguity
