Senior Financial Analyst - Sales FP&A

To thoroughly understand sales deal pipeline and metrics, from pipeline to bookings to revenue. Apply results through commissions models to implement corporate sales incentives.


The Sales FP&A team supports Eventbrite’s worldwide sales organization by providing decision support for deals, deal capital allocation, compensation strategy, bookings pipeline analysis & revenue reporting, budgeting and forecasting.



The individual who fills this role will participate in all responsibilities related to calculating, processing, analyzing and reporting sales compensation, and addressing related queries.  This individual will have significant exposure to senior leadership across multiple functions. An ability to communicate complex analysis linking corporate performance to individual sales rep efforts will be key. This role will also be responsible for building scalable processes through effective utilization of existing/new systems and collaboration with key business partners. 


  • Develop a strong understanding of bookings conversion to revenue, and how commissions impact the P&L
  • Own and manage entire sales incentive compensation administration, including commission calculations, bonuses, quota changes, exceptions, and reporting for world-wide sales organization
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of commission payouts to all incentive eligible sales & sales support teams
  • Identify, communicate and resolve any problems affecting the proper processing of commissions and bonuses
  • Provide clear and accurate commission statements to each sales representative
  • Act as primary partner with HR, Sales, Sales Operations and Finance leadership to continuously improve plan design, administration, and payout accuracy
  • Initiate and lead special projects related to reporting and implementation of key SOX controls. 


  • Proven ability to clearly articulate analysis to senior management
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, administering, and driving complex compensation programs for growing business
  • Experience with managing comp plans in an acquisition/integration environment a big plus
  • Experience with incentive systems (Xactly/Callidus) 
  • Experience with BI/CRM/reporting systems (Salesforce, Tableau, Workday)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and reconcile data quality issues
  • Strong Excel skills required


  • System admin experience with Xactly, Callidus, Anaplan or Adaptive Planning
  • Ability to manipulate and reconcile large datasets from multiple sources via Python or R
  • Working knowledge of SQL
