Senior HR Systems Analyst

THE CHALLENGE

Over the past 10 years, the Eventbrite team has grown from a small but mighty group in San Francisco to a global community of 1,000 employees in over 10 countries. We are scaling our People Operations team to support our domestic and international expansion, and continue our investment in our #1 asset: our people (our “Britelings”).


We are looking for a Workday HRIS Business Analyst to help Eventbrite fully utilize our HR system capabilities.  Working with the People Operations team and reporting to the Senior HR Systems Architect, you will partner with cross functional teams from Payroll, Accounting, IT, Recruiting, and Business Partners.  This is a great opportunity for someone with Workday experience to help us improve our technology solutions and operations. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about Eventbrite & Workday and can bring that level of energy to our HR systems.


THE TEAM

Eventbrite’s People Operations team is dedicated to creating and delivering an exceptional Briteling experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle with efficient and seamless people processes, policies, systems, and programs. YOU WILL

  • Assist with Workday system enhancements, maintenance and implementation of HCM modules
  • Create, maintain, and schedule reports, including calculated fields, notifications, dashboards and alerts
  • Perform routine Workday administrative functions including bulk uploads (EIBs), business process configuration, and assisting the team in maintaining security policies, roles and responsibilities including SOX compliance
  • Accountable for data integrity of our HR systems. Proactively maintain Workday data integrity through audits and queries
  • Develop training documents as well as facilitating onsite & online training
  • Document business requirements and functional specifications, develop testing scripts, conduct user acceptance testing and deployment into production
  • Review semi-annual Workday releases and identify new functionality as well as changes that will impact Eventbrite
  • Maintain Workday’s organizational data including supervisory orgs, locations, cost centers, companies, etc
  • Other opportunities will include managing vendor integrations, assist in building out our data warehouse and data analytics, configure yearly Open Enrollment & merit processes, supporting other non-Workday systems including Lever, Continu (LMS), and Culture Amp.

THE SKILL SET

  • 5 years of HR systems experience including 3+ Years of Workday in-depth support in HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent required
  • Solid understanding of HR operation concepts, best practices, and proceduresAbility to partner closely with appropriate business partners across all levels of the organization
  • Expert level in Workday reporting, including calculated fields and dashboards
  • Knowledge of various Workday security types (roles & security groups)
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Apps a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills
  • Collaborative work style - team player with low-ego
  • Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner
  • Able to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Can-do, make it happen attitude
  • Self-starter and operational problem solver
  • Previous roles in a high growth, tech environment highly desired
  • Passion for Eventbrite
  • BA or BS degree.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking
  • Experience with Lever, Culture Amp, and Learning Management Systems
  • Creating data analytics in Tableau or Excel.
