Senior IOS Engineer - Argentina Remote

THE CHALLENGE

Our organizer apps power businesses of all sizes, from smaller conferences to massive international food, film, and music festivals. Their performance is critical; we must have a high level of confidence around every release and know that it will perform perfectly to guarantee a seamless experience for any Eventbrite powered event. 

Our attendee apps aim to be the best-in-class app for discovery and attendance to events. Our user experience should be delightful and with high quality, to get the trust of our frequent attendees that look for live and virtual experiences all lover the world.

THE TEAM

Our mobile stack is Android (kotlin) and iOS (swift).

Our backend stack is Python, Django, and Celery, all running on AWS with a MySQL backend.

THE SKILL SET

• 5+ years of experience building iOS native apps.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of teams.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and execute according to the plan.
• Passion for quality and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to write performant concurrent code.
• Ability to cleanly architect UI features.
• Deep understanding of the Swift language and type system.
• Experience with some of the following technologies: UIKit, CoreGraphics, CoreAnimation. Some experience with SwiftUI is a plus.
• Experience in writing clean and testable code.
• Experience with modern app architectures. Familiarity with unidirectional data flow frameworks like Redux or The Composable Architecture is a plus.
