THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite is building the global platform for live experiences, and part of that mission relies on a foundation of top-notch IT infrastructure and tools. As part of the IT team, you will contribute to supporting and maintaining Eventbrite’s IT infrastructure in our Hyderabad office. In this position you will be on the ground IT support in our Hyderabad office, help administer and maintain on-premise and cloud backend IT systems, and serve as an escalation point for our IT Contractor in our Melbourne office.
THE TEAM
The Eventbrite IT team, or BriteTech as we are fondly referred to internally, is responsible for overseeing all internal technical operations. From network services, security and collaboration services, to espresso machines over IP, BriteTech’s goals are to simply reduce technical friction in an effort to nurture an environment where technology empowers and supports the creativity of our Britelings! There are a number of services, software, and hardware solutions required to create a productive and collaborative environment for our Britelings and partners. Creating and supporting this environment takes a team of motivated individuals. We build the internal technology environment around the pillars of efficiency, security and user-centricity. The team supports a global staff who are creating a global service. We are a diverse, global, forward thinking team and are looking for that special someone to join us!
THE ROLE
As a member of the global BriteTech Team, you will be the first IT team member for our new Hyderabad office. You will wear many hats, from establishing vendor relationships in India for hardware procurement, setting up and deploying laptops for new hires, onboarding and offboarding employees, troubleshooting day to day IT issues for end users, supporting backend SaaS systems like Okta and Google Workspace, serving as an escalation point for engineers, and building out IT network infrastructure. You will need to be comfortable operating independently and autonomously while aligning with the Global IT strategy and wider IT team.
