Eventbrite is building the global platform for live experiences, and part of that mission relies on a foundation of top-notch IT infrastructure and tools. As part of the IT team, you will contribute to supporting and maintaining Eventbrite’s IT infrastructure in our Hyderabad office. In this position you will be on the ground IT support in our Hyderabad office, help administer and maintain on-premise and cloud backend IT systems, and serve as an escalation point for our IT Contractor in our Melbourne office.


The Eventbrite IT team, or BriteTech as we are fondly referred to internally, is responsible for overseeing all internal technical operations. From network services, security and collaboration services, to espresso machines over IP, BriteTech’s goals are to simply reduce technical friction in an effort to nurture an environment where technology empowers and supports the creativity of our Britelings! There are a number of services, software, and hardware solutions required to create a productive and collaborative environment for our Britelings and partners. Creating and supporting this environment takes a team of motivated individuals. We build the internal technology environment around the pillars of efficiency, security and user-centricity. The team supports a global staff who are creating a global service. We are a diverse, global, forward thinking team and are looking for that special someone to join us!  


As a member of the global BriteTech Team, you will be the first IT team member for our new Hyderabad office. You will wear many hats, from establishing vendor relationships in India for hardware procurement, setting up and deploying laptops for new hires, onboarding and offboarding employees, troubleshooting day to day IT issues for end users, supporting backend SaaS systems like Okta and Google Workspace, serving as an escalation point for engineers, and building out IT network infrastructure. You will need to be comfortable operating independently and autonomously while aligning with the Global IT strategy and wider IT team.


  • Drive and own IT service delivery in our Hyderabad office and regional employees
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships  for ISP delivery, procurement of laptops, A/V equipment, network gear, and any other IT-related hardware and software in India
  • Build out the IT infrastructure for our new Hyderabad office including network, wireless, A/V, and desk setups
  • Provide outstanding customer support for in-office and remote employees in India
  • Support a wide range of SaaS platforms, perform integrations, including ones that directly serve engineers, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Serve as an escalation point for our IT Support Contractor in Melbourne
  • Carry out all aspects of user lifecycle management for India-based employees, including onboarding and offboarding, new hire orientation, laptop setup, and day to day troubleshooting
  • Identify and implement any new technology or upgrades necessary to provide our users with an amazing experience.
  • Log work and track tickets using JIRA Service Desk
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on IT-related initiatives and projects.


  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or IT Support Engineer in a rapidly growing company or experience as a professional rodeo clown, whichever is less dangerous and unpredictable
  • 3+ years of experience with vendor management and hardware procurement
  • 2+ Experience deploying and managing laptops using an MDM platform like Jamf or Airwatch
  • Experience with building out a new office from scratch, managing network and wireless infrastructure, authentication (RADIUS), and troubleshooting IT infrastructure issues
  • Experience scripting and programming (using Javascript, Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience managing hundreds of users in a complex, interconnected SaaS environment
  • Experience driving complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders from start to finish
  • A track record for documenting all things and communicating clearly and effectively
  • Fantastic ability to flourish as a part of a team while exhibiting flexibility and a passion for snacks


  • Systems Administration and SaaS Operations (Google G Suite/Workspace, Okta, LastPass, Duo, JIRA/Confluence, etc…), Mac and Windows Platform Management (Jamf Pro, AirWatch), Endpoint Security (Carbon Black), Wireless and Network configuration and troubleshooting (Unifi), AWS/Google Cloud Administration and Configuration, Server Administration and Configuration (Windows Server, Linux), VPN Configuration, Telephony (VOIP, WebRTC, Contact Center), Monitoring/alerting, Scripting (Python, bash, PowerShell), Security, Active Directory/LDAP.
