THE CHALLENGE

At Eventbrite, we aim to deliver groundbreaking event organizer tools and attendee experiences globally. We’re looking for an experienced performance marketer to join the Global Growth Marketing team to help guide performance marketing strategy globally and support our central and global marketing teams. 


THE TEAM

The Global Growth Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group of marketers who work across a variety of areas of the business, including sales and self-service demand generation, SEO, digital and performance marketing, and B2B content marketing. We work closely with our regional marketing teams in the EU, APAC, LatAm & North America as well as our centralized marketing teams in San Francisco to drive marketing strategy and growth globally. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and cross-functional collaborators, working closely with product, design, engineering, analytics and other marketers globally.


THE ROLE

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced senior performance marketer with a deep understanding of B2B marketing, the skillset to drive high level strategy globally, and the willingness to get in the weeds when needed. You are the authority on using paid media to drive acquisition through both self-service and sales channels, and have experience working in a matrixed, global organization. You’re passionate about delivering results that drive the business forward, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders across time zones. We're looking for a flexible and collaborative team player who works well in groups where tasks are often shared. This role will be based in San Francisco, reporting to the Director of Global Growth Marketing. 

YOU WILL

  • Help define Eventbrite’s overarching B2B performance marketing strategy globally, working closely with the local marketing teams in the UK, APAC, LatAm and North America - providing guidance, support, education and motivation to achieve results and drive growth for the business.
  • Lead the global conversation around performance marketing strategy to exceed our ambitious growth targets, including driving more efficient acquisition of service-service and sales funnel customers 
  • Work closely with finance, revenue operations, data science and marketing analytics to develop a stronger set of performance marketing KPIs and benchmarks including in-depth analysis of LTV, CPA and ROI of all activities to ensure maximum efficiency 
  • Create a “one team” approach with regional performance marketing peers to better align efforts, combine resources, decrease duplicate efforts 
  • Analyze global progress to plan, report on the results of initiatives and key milestones, and provide proactive optimization recommendations
  • Help drive large-scale, seasonal B2C initiatives to increase brand awareness and sell tickets
  • Evaluate global media agencies to ensure accountability and consistency of measurement, metrics, pricing and efficiency 
  • Strategically develop, test and scale methodology to consistently evolve performance marketing globally as well as in market
  • Work closely with the design, brand, and product marketing teams to develop a scalable system for consistent creative refreshes with a test and learn approach.
  • Demonstrate global leadership and influence across the broader marketing organization, getting buy-in for your initiatives and surfacing opportunities to drive results for the broader business 

THE SKILL SET

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing (with a minimum of four years working in a performance marketing role), preferably in high-growth startup brands, at agency, ad-tech or client-side. 
  • A deep understanding of paid media channels, specifically search, social and display
  • Self-starter with a roll up your sleeves and figure it out mentality
  • Proven history working cross-functionally inside and outside of a marketing team to move projects forward and achieve shared goals
  • Experience managing a performance marketing agency 
  • Demonstrated success managing global budgets across channels and driving ROI-positive new customer acquisition through paid media 
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global marketing organization with a proven record of driving significant growth through performance marketing.
  • Analytical mindset, thorough understanding of how to build a story through data
  • Strong facilitator and collaborator within and across teams and locations
  • World-class organizational, and project management and communication skills
