Eventbrite created a dedicated music division whose mission is to build the world’s most powerful live music platform. It will enable music venues and promoters to sell more tickets, streamline operations, and increase revenue, and help fans to find and purchase tickets to the coolest events. We’re looking for an experienced product marketer to lead the go-to-market strategy for our new music solution, maintain a sustainable and defensible competitive advantage in the market, and evolve our brand.
Our music marketing team is part of Eventbrite’s new music division. We’re responsible for all marketing activities targeting our music and comedy venues and promoters, and for partnering with Eventbrite’s global marketing team to bring new offerings to market and support client acquisition and retention initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing - Music, the Senior Product Marketing Manager - Music will lead the go-to-market strategy for Eventbrite’s new music product and services from launch through global expansion.
Strong candidates for this role will be creative, analytical, and strategic, with a proven ability to identify product opportunities, craft key messages, and develop and execute go-to-market strategies. You will have a proven track record of working efficiently and transparently across functional teams, bringing new products to market with high adoption and usage, and tackling complex and ambiguous challenges.
You’ll own the go-to-market process - including product naming, positioning, launch plans - partnering closely with product management, sales, client services, and demand gen teams to drive adoption and usage of our new music solution. You’ll perform extensive and up-to-date analysis on the live events industry, including features offered by alternative products in the market. You’ll determine how best to position the value offered by our new music solution to prospects, clients, and ticket buyers and deliver the assets to support launches and sales materials including pitch decks, case studies, videos, and owned web properties. You’ll hone the delivery model for our new music solution, including pricing and packaging, and report on our results.
In short, you’re a well-organized problem solver that makes a big impact and inspires others to do the same.
