THE CHALLENGE

We're looking for start-up oriented candidates to bring their creative problem solving skills, excellent communication and competitive drive to the team. This individual will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for acquiring Small and Medium (SMB) businesses with operational expertise and execution.  This team is focused on evangelizing our solution in-market, acquiring customers, and further cementing our place as a market leader.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who can drive strategy, growth, and operational excellence.  In this role you will lead and coach a high-performing sales team responsible for selling prospects on our unique value proposition and ensuring that the broader market understands how we are shaking up the way ticketing is done.

An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales management experience and have worked in a growth-stage environment. Candidate must have a proven ability to execute a solution oriented sales process, drive market strategy, coach and mentor sales reps, and history of exceeding quarterly and yearly targets.

YOU WILL

  • Lead a team of 7 Account Executives whose responsibility is to identify new sales opportunities for the business and close opportunities provided from Sales Development Representatives
  • Improve sales results via call coaching and personal development plans. Analyze and track performance to identify areas of opportunity and best practices. Create tools to help reps understand their performance across multiple metrics
  • Collaborate with the broader Sales Leadership Team to improve the quality of opportunities and improve efficiencies in lead generation Analyze performance trends across the business, including impact of seasonality, marketing campaigns, and product launches
  • Contribute as a member of the Sales Leadership Team in driving company-wide and Nashville initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing to improve lead flow, provide feedback on campaigns, and understand how to optimize and prioritize leads for the sales team

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management with a proven record of quota over-achievement
  • Firm understanding of how to identify target customers, evaluate buyer interest, recognize decision-making processes, handle objections, and close the business
  • Proven ability to execute on consultative sales methodology
  • Ability to develop a strong expertise in the ticketing industry by identifying trends, market challenges, and competitive offerings in your territory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
