THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced product leader to help us build world-class payments systems and consumer products to grow Eventbrite’s marketplace. Eventbrite powers millions of transactions for events of all shapes and sizes across 160+ countries, and you will build the user experiences and payment processing that make that possible. You will set the strategy and build the future for the financial tools and products that help our event creators grow their businesses and succeed, and you will mentor and grow the team alongside setting the vision for the future of our business.


You will also play a critical company leadership role as the site leader for Eventbrite’s Argentina site. In this capacity you will focus on building the culture, reputation and success of our office. You will advocate and represent the needs of the Argentina team with company leadership and work closely with HR leaders, and engineering leaders to grow strong development teams to own enduring charters, investing in continuous learning and career development for all of our Argentina Britelings and build an employer brand for Eventbrite as an employer of choice in the local talent market.

YOU WILL

  • Manage a group of product managers across all payments/consumer engagement related areas of the marketplace.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor top product managers.
  • Build strong product culture and practices, and lead engineering, design, analytics and product to solve customer problems together. 
  • Define a clear vision for payments/consumer engagement at Eventbrite and drive the strategy.
  • Drive measurable impact, and leverage data and customer insight to guide decisions and roadmap.
  • Work with your team to ruthlessly prioritize and execute on a thoughtful portfolio of long and shorter term efforts to deliver the largest impact for our customers and towards our mission.
  • Communicate the payments/consumer strategy widely across the organization.
  • Work cross functionally with legal, customer support, trust & safety, finance, and tax.
  • Educate and expand the knowledge of payments/consumer engagement within the team and the company.
  • Serve as the site leader for Argentina.
  • Lead our local branding and presence.

THE SKILL SET

  • 7+ years experience in product management including knowledge of consumer products and/or payments.
  • 3+ years leadership experience with a track record of hiring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven record of successfully launching and growing payment/consumer products (marketplace focus preferred but not required).
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment driving prioritization across a portfolio of efforts, incorporating new business realities, and incorporating industry advancements along the way.
  • Ability to hire, inspire, motivate, and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication skills that enable clear articulation of vision, strategy, and execution.
  • A collaborative approach to guide and deliver impact in those challenging moments of product delivery.
  • A passion for connecting people through live events.
