The Trust and Safety team is a group of experts committed to ensuring the integrity of the Eventbrite ecosystem and cultivate trust with the users community. Our team upholds the Eventbrite’s Content Standards, ensuring safe and quality content, and protecting the community against abuse. We partner with numerous teams across the company, including Legal, Finance and Product to build tools, policies and infrastructure to keep the community safe and ensure a positive resolution if issues do arise. 


As a Trust and Safety Content Moderation Specialist, you’ll be charged with reviewing, investigating, and resolving potential content policy violations that are proactively detected by our algorithms or reported by the user community. You’ll be responsible for proposing and/or implementing improvements to processes and policies that better address our user’s expectations while ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework. You’ll work alongside with the Content Moderation & Policy team, as well as other functional teams, in continuously developing our operational efforts for efficient and scalable policy implementation.

  • BS or BA degree or higher
  • A love of task-based, operational work and a passion for customer experience, specifically in relation to trust and safety issues
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with a proven ability to manage ambiguity/change, make decisions, and build consensus when working with a group
  • Ability to learn complex policies quickly and be the operations owner of multiple content and trust and safety programs
  • Comfortable with viewing potentially disturbing content and discussing difficult subjects clearly
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and a collaborative teammate that knows how to prioritize and self-motivate
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to identify pain points or areas for improvement on a team and advocate for a solution through implementation


  • 3+ years of operational experience, preferably within content moderation, trust & safety, or finance operations tasks
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, SQL, Slack, Google Apps, JIRA
  • Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events
  • Proficient in other languages than English
