THE CHALLENGE

The Music Venue Success team works day-in and day-out to support the ticketing needs of Eventbrite’s biggest music venues and promoters. We are committed to providing our event organizers with superior service throughout the event’s sales cycle--from presale planning to post-event reporting. Our team of creative-thinkers work interdepartmentally to support, find and/or create solutions for our partners’ needs.


THE TEAM

The ultimate goal of the Venue Success team is to ensure partner satisfaction with the goal of making every client reference-able. This team assists Eventbrite’s largest music venues and promoters in managing day-to-day operations, instills confidence in our products and services, and enables organizers to leverage our platform to produce high-caliber events.

 

THE ROLE

The best candidate for the Venue Success Specialist role strives to add value in every interaction, provides outstanding support for their regional peers, contributes to the team effort, maintains excellent relations with our partners, and teaches partners and colleagues to better understand our value proposition.


JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • For new Enterprise level venue clients, oversee and contribute to in-depth training and on-boarding for our web based ticketing platform and box office hardware
  • For existing Enterprise level venue clients, and post on-boarding for new clients, act as a main point of contact for support, and proactively identify and resolve feature adoption gaps, share marketing best practices, and help drive utilization to influence incremental ticket sales
  • Provide and/or oversee training around new product launches and enhancements
  • Provide on-site support, typically for first events and larger events
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to develop campaigns that drive client conversion
  • Partner with Sales on prospect meetings and client meetings to provide product and operational expertise and insight

THE SKILL SET

  • 3+ years managing technology relationships for venues
  • Experience with Account Management, Marketing, or Sales in a B2B SaaS space
  • Ability to engage and inspire, always conveying confidence, knowledge and integrity using multiple presentation formats, including phone, web conference, in person, and in written communication (Presentation may be required as part of interview process)
  • Strong technical and web skills with the ability to make complicated/technical subjects easy to comprehend for the end user
  • Excellent planning, organization, attention to detail and implementation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
  • Professional and personable, always balancing the client and company’s best interests.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, with willingness to travel.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience working for a venue or a promoter either in a box office or an operations capacity
  • Hands-on understanding of the Eventbrite system from an event organizer’s perspective
  • Passion for attending music events and an understanding of the music community
