THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite has built the leading events marketplace, enabling entrepreneurs around the world to build and grow their businesses with live events while helping event-goers discover unique, local things to do. Today, our creators increasingly rely on Eventbrite to distribute their events, drive consumer demand, and help them grow their ticket sales and ultimately their businesses. We are looking for an experienced growth leader to take this value proposition to market to drive the acquisition of creators as well as fuel the demand side of the marketplace by acquiring more event-goers across all paid and owned channels.
THE TEAM
Growth Marketing resides at the intersection of marketing, sales, product, engineering, and analytics with a strong emphasis on experimentation and impact. The team requires a highly specialized marketing skill set that is a unique blend of technical, operational, and creative talents. The team is highly collaborative, results-oriented, and fast-paced. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will also work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the executive team.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for evolving and setting the company’s growth strategy and leading a team of growth marketers, including performance marketing, SEO, demand generation, and international growth tasked with growing both sides of our marketplace. You will be required to lead operating model evolution, leading the team through change as we up-level our capabilities. You will partner closely with Product Development, Engineering, and Sales to drive alignment and ensure that our acquisition strategies and tactics are best-in-class, performant, and optimized. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-growth company in a fast-moving dynamic marketplace. The leader should be able to mentor and motivate a marketing team to solve complex problems and shape and bring to life innovative growth initiatives through quick experimentation and new technologies and tools.
