The environment we work in is fast paced. In order to deliver the best work possible and maintain the highest productivity the Design team needs operational support. We’re looking for someone with excellent problem solving skills and a passion for making things happen. The right mix of technical, organizational and communication skills is key to success, and enabling the designers to produce excellent results. This is a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to help facilitate all of the projects requested of the Mendoza Brand Design team and therefore have a big impact on our global marketing presence.
The Brand Communication team is composed of a tight knit group of designers working most closely with the Marketing team, as well as multiple departments across the organization to drive towards our company goals. The designers on the team are responsible for bringing the brand’s visual language to life and creating a deep and meaningful relationship between Eventbrite and it’s users. The Project Manager on the team is the facilitator, responsible for driving work forward while ensuring our processes are lightweight and focused on delivering value.
The Project Manager is the enabler and the problem solver, responsible for doing what it takes to clear roadblocks and ensure that the teams stays focused and on track to meet our delivery goals. Above all the Project Manager is the communicator, charged with bringing visibility and setting expectations between teams cross-functionally and to our stakeholders. This role will require working day-to-day with people across the whole organization, coordinating and facilitating design requests for the Mendoza designers, to drive strategic projects from inception-to-launch. The role must care deeply about our Brand integrity and the quality of our design, as well as balancing the requirements of the project objective. It requires a highly motivated individual with an eye for detail while keeping perspective on the big picture; someone who can excel in international cross-department collaboration and communication with a drive to make things happen.

THE SKILL SET
1+ years of experience managing marketing and design projects in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Bilingual communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Experience in developing and managing project plans, and resource plans
Ability to align the various details necessary for a project to begin; this includes an approved brief, creating timelines, resourcing as well as scheduling reviews and approvals at all levels
Ability to identify, communicate and resolve project issues
Work collaboratively and lead cross-discipline teams of various levels of seniority
Lead and organize efficient meetings and conference calls
Develop tasks lists, status reports & meeting notes
Highly organized, friendly, positive attitude, solution oriented, clear and concise communicator, strong problem solving skills, not afraid to speak up, confronts problems head on, confident to ask questions to fully understand the situation and task at hand
High-level cross-discipline knowledge of strategy, requirements gathering, user experience, content strategy, information architecture, design, technology, analytics and quality assurance
Develop and deliver reports to keep Design leadership and stakeholders informed on results and impact
Champion and uphold our design process and Brand design integrity
Stay on top of projects throughout the production phase to avoid any scheduling or resource conflicts
