Eventbrite’s Briteling Experience team is dedicated to providing a positive, helpful, and welcoming experience to everyone who enters the Briteland, from our employees to guests, vendors, clients, and customers. As the Manager, Total Rewards you will be part of our larger Briteling Experience team, which includes Core HR, Business Partners, People Operations, Engagement and Development, Recruiting, and Facilities.

We’re looking for a Manager with a can-do attitude who is willing to challenge traditional thinking and pursue new territory with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of ownership. As an experienced, business-minded, and creative problem solver, you will guide the strategy of global compensation and benefits. In this role, you will be the strategic partner to our Core HR team, our VP of People, and our Finance team and guide Eventbrite in our pursuit of living at the intersection of happiness and high performance. You will also be the person that architects how we translate the strategy into meaning for Britelings.
By providing coaching and leadership, you will guide our Executive Team to create strategies for attracting, retaining, and engaging our global workforce. You will partner with our Finance team to align our compensation programs with our philosophies, while simultaneously managing budgets and burn. You’ll also work directly with the internal and compensation committees to evolve our worldwide compensation and benefits philosophy, while providing pre IPO analysis of programs we have in place.
THE SKILL SET
6+ years of experience working within the areas of compensation, executive compensation, benefits and technology systems within a global company
Demonstrated experience in providing compensation strategy guidance to Boards, Executive Teams, and Compensation Review Teams
Demonstrated experience in partnering cross functionally with FP&A, People Operations, and Recruiting
International total rewards experience
Experience in providing thought leadership during M&A activities
Expertise in market tools such as Radford or Compensia
Experience in leveling roles and Recruitment partnership
Exposure to headcount and budget planning, and the executive communication skills to provide leadership guidance
Superior analytical skills
An agile thinker with strong business acumen
Ability to make complex concepts simple and understandable at all levels
Curiosity that enables you to identify root cause solutions
Ability to succinctly and persuasively make points up, down and across all levels
Ability to keep pace with a smart, witty and precocious Briteling population
Ability to develop and deliver tools and processes that assure Eventbrite is, and remains, an incredible place to work
Ability to toggle between the 10 foot and 10,000 foot view of challenges or projects
MBA or CCP preferred
Experience working in companies in the scaling phase
