Eventbrite is looking for a Head of Internal and Executive Communications to establish a framework for an internal communications program, complete with narrative development and CEO comms support for all internal touch points.  From strategy to execution, your work will help improve the process and strategy for consistent communication throughout more than 500 employees in 11 offices around the world.

Your objective will be to think collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across a cross-functional, global organization, ensure the internal communications program has a global reach, and to help Britelings feel a connection to our mission.

This role sits on the Corporate Communications team and reports to the VP of Global Communications.  


Our small, but mighty, Global Communications team is charged with bringing Eventbrite into people’s hearts, minds, and conversations. We are storytellers, press pros and evangelists who take a creative approach towards all forms of communications - from external media relations and speaking opportunities, to internal All Hands meetings and global employee communication.


The primary job of a corporate communications team is to communicate the corporate strategy to key audiences.  And there is no more critical audience than our employees (fondly referred to as Britelings). Internal communications connects employees to a company’s mission, vision and goals using the voice of a shared company culture.  

This is a very exciting time in that it’s the first time that Eventbrite is hiring a dedicated internal communications professional at the company.  While the communications team has partnered with the Briteling Experience team to get some nuts and bolts of communications built, there is a massive opportunity to inject creativity and more focus and alignment, resulting in increased engagement for our people-centric culture.

Day to day, this person will be spearheading creative and strategic programs while collaborating closely with our executive team (particularly our CEO) to drive narrative development through a variety of channels and touch points. This includes setting the strategy and execution of our regularly scheduled communications (global monthly All-Hands, weekly employee newsletter) and digging deep for creative programs that inspires our global Britelings and encourages an environment of pride in the Briteland.  


  • Drive internal alignment and timely communications around important company updates (i.e. acquisitions, new offices, etc.)
  • Manage the process of our global, monthly All-Hands meeting soup to nuts - from agenda setting and picking speakers, to promotion and distribution. These involve working cross-functionally with our IT department, our Executive staff, and functional leaders to make sure that every Briteling, no matter where they’re located, has access to the information delivered during these meetings
  • Set strategy and execution of our weekly employee newsletter and work closely with members of the executive team and people who are leading key business initiatives to communicate with the rest of the company
  • Contribute to the strategy and drive narrative development and communications assets for our executive team (specifically the CEO) to the company through a variety of channels and touch points
  • Orchestrate a communications plan for organizational changes, and determine the best channels and messaging that helps the organization to digest, understand and embrace necessary change - ultimately leading to accelerated alignment

  • Detail-oriented - Overseeing the internal communications strategy for a global company can be very time-consuming and detail-oriented. We’re looking for someone to keep on top of all the logistics that go along with a growing, global company
  • Flexible - Things change quickly in technology, and we need someone who can pivot and acclimate quickly - all while having a great attitude of flexibility and collaboration

  • Discreet - given the nature of this role and access to private information ahead of time, we will look to the ideal candidate as having exceptional judgement
  • Experienced - 8-12 years of internal and/or executive communications experience 


  • Prior experience working with an award-winning culture and/or notable people-centric company
  • Startup experience
  • Executive communications experience with industry leader(s)
