The Eventbrite Platform, one of the key differentiators of our business, enables partners and developers to integrate with Eventbrite’s data and services to provide new functionality to our users, helping Eventbrite’s business to scale and serve our global market. With over 10K developers and over 170 partners, Eventbrite is the leading event technology platform, enabling partners to build successful businesses while serving our users across a variety of categories. The Platform Product Manager will be responsible for designing and building a platform that accelerates our business by supporting our developers and partners, our users, and our internal business needs.
You’ll be joining an experienced team of talented Product Managers and Engineers to focus on building our platform by deeply understanding our customers, partners, and business needs. You’ll be charged with creating an experience that is delightful and easy-to-use by both developers and end-users. You will own the platform roadmap, and spearhead Eventbrite’s platform partner and developer strategy.
You’ll shape the future of platform at Eventbrite by defining a vision, strategy and roadmap and executing on it. You will gather and specify product requirements, understand customer and partner pain points and opportunities for product improvements. You will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with peer product managers and engineers, as well as executives from across the global business units.
THE SKILL SET
5-7 years of product management experience
Passionate and knowledgeable about platforms, with strong technical level understanding of APIs and platform development
Passion for live events, frequently attending events and buying tickets online
Self-starter with proven track record of execution and results in platform or API products
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
BS degree in a technology-related field
Former experience developing e-commerce platforms or developer tools
Built apps for other developer platforms
